Self-Taught & Visionary Art in New Zealand

Obsessive decoration is characterised by the compulsive repetition of marks. The mark could be a circle, square, line, or windows in a building that are then repeated to create a whole series of buildings.

The artists generally work on paper and tend to fill the available space.
