Self-Taught & Visionary Art in New Zealand

Andrea Malloy
Dargaville

The artist strives to achieve a convincing likeness of the subject. Often that subject involves domestic pets or flowers in affectionate attitudes. The paintings are painstakingly worked and a photo-realistic effect is the desired outcome. The artist considers her practice a type of apprenticeship for the art trade, and the work produced is for sale.
